En savoir plus
The Ruffus family vineyard is located in Haulchin, near Binche.
It is located in the area known as "Les Agaises". The plots are situated on a south-facing hillside with soil very rich in limestone. In the 12th century, Lord Ruffus ruled over this region.
In 2002, the Agaises vineyard was created thanks to the various contributions of five people:
Having grown continuously, the vineyard now includes 30 hectares of vines planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The estate is therefore the largest wine producer in Belgium.
They only produce sparkling wines made according to the traditional Champagne method, that is to say with a second fermentation in the bottle, and a minimum of 12 months of aging on lees.
